As the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." And that's what the City plans to do when it comes to snow removal this winter. 

"We plan to keep the snow removal plan as is," explained City's Road and Drainage Manager, Norm Mack. "Clearly it worked last year. Maybe a few fine tweaks will change it up a bit but there will be no major changes."

"It's taken us years to devise a plan ans we know what works from past practices so I think we'll continue what we've been doing. Hopefully the snow amounts won't add up to what they were in 2016."

"The priority streets I presume, will stay the same."

He adds that with the small amount of recent snowfall, crews have been busy sanding and salting. 

"There's not enough snow to warrant any removal of snow or plowing."
