In what may have been a case of sheer driver negligence, emergency crews responded to reports last night where a semi drove into the ditch and rolled over.

The incident occurred just before 9:00 PM in the Highway 39 twinning construction zone, and Estevan RCMP, EMT, and Fire Rescue attended the scene. There were no reported injuries, and alcohol did not appear to be a factor.

As well, the goods carried on board were deemed non hazardous. According to the RCMP, the load consisted of soy farm-based product.

The stuff is now being unloaded from the unit and removed from the scene, so that the truck can then be lifted out and placed back on it's wheels.
