As the cold winds roared, so to did the Lampman Lions on their snow mobiles. On the 23rd of February a sled rally was held to have fun and also raise some capital for the future needs of Lampman.

Damon Southerland. "We were really happy with how many sleds showed up this year and the amount of support." He Continued, "The weather was fair, a little chilly in the morning, mid afternoon was good, and by the night when the wind picked up, we were all in, so not too bad."

There was also some poker played, with high and low wins. "The high hand got three hundred dollars, the low hand got two hundred and the second highest got one hundred." In total there was six hundred dollars payed out.

On top of the cash and 50/50 prizes, the day also included some great door prizes including; "Drills and tool sets, a helmet as well as shirts and jackets were given away!" Explained Damen.

The Lampman Lions were not raising funds for anything in particular, instead they like to make sure cash is there for when the community needs it. The last donation made by the Lampman Lions was for the pool in Lampman which received twenty-five thousand dollars from the group.
