Crescent Point Energy made their mark on the outdoor, permanent rink at the Kin-Park this afternoon. The company handed the Kin-Clubs of Estevan a cheque for $5000 at a presentation at the rink.

"This money is going towards completion of the boards," explained Vice President Elect, Preston Majeran. "As you know, the boards started to go up and we do have to finish paying for those boards. So the money is going to go towards the finishing of the boards and to do some little touch ups with the basketball nets."

He added that Crescent Point was excited to donate to a great community project like the new rink.

"They just see the benefit in the community."

"We live and work in southeast Saskatchewan and all over Saskatchewan," explained Todd Bedore with Crescent Point Energy, "and we love to give back to the communities, especially sports and recreation, it's is one of our favourite things to donate to and it's a great facility."

"Crescent Point has a fund that we donate to all our communities. We have lots of employees down here from Estevan and also all over southern Saskatchewan so we always like to donate to our smaller communities. I'm not from Estevan, I'm from Weyburn, and we are really jealous of this facility. It looks great, it's going to be great for the community."

"The people here make our business and we just want to give back."
