Wednesday turned out to keep the Estevan Police Service busy.

Most noteworthy was the collision at the south railway crossing of Kensington Avenue. A southbound semi trailer unit had been struck by the train as it was passing through the crossing. The semi was transporting a load of pipe, and some of the load fell off and struck a northbound pickup truck that had stopped for the train.

Estevan Fire and Rescue and EMS attended the scene, however, no injuries were reported from the incident. The matter is still under investigation, with the assistance of the Canadian Pacific Railway Police Service.
