The Estevan Police Service dealt with a couple of noteworthy incidents over the dayshift on Thursday, including an accident and theft investigation.

"There was an accident reported on King Street and Arthur Avenue, where one of the vehicles had to be towed from the scene. There were no injuries involved," stated Sergeant Kevin Reed, adding that their attendance was required due to the collision necessitating a tow truck.

"They're (also) still investigating a theft from a motor vehicle, that will continue to be investigated for the next little while until it's solved."

Overnight, officers attended a disturbance as two parties divided up property. Otherwise, the evening was quiet.
