Several incidents came to the attention of the Estevan Police Service throughout Monday evening's night shift.

"Police members received a complaint of a suspicious person drinking alcohol in a parking lot. They responded, and intercepted that person before he drove off," shared Sergeant Tyler McMillan.

"That 35 year old man from Estevan was arrested for being in Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle (While Impaired). He supplied two samples of breath and was charged because he was over the legal limit. He was released with a future court date."

Officers also responded to a disturbance at a hotel in the northeast part of town.

"Upon arrival, a 19 year old female was arrested for assault. She was held in custody until she could be released on conditions later. In checking with our computer systems, it was noted that she was wanted out of Regina Police Service. She will be held in custody and taken before the judge and remanded, and hopefully be transported to Regina to appear on those charges," said McMillan.

Members also took care of a barking dog complaint. The homeowner was called in to resolve the matter.
