Even though last night was a bit uneventful, the Estevan Police Service had a very busy weekend.

Sunday the weather was warming up as the EPS received a complaint of a theft of fuel from a local gas bar. A short time later members located and arrested a 28-year-old male from Estevan. He was released on an undertaking with conditions and will appear in court in May to answer to the charge.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on 8th Street and 13th Avenue. Estevan Fire and EMS personnel attended the scene as well. There were no injuries, however, both vehicles needed to be towed. The matter is still under investigation.

Members attended to a complaint of a dog at large in the Hillcrest area. The homeowner was located and warned of the bylaw.

Officers received a complaint of willful damage to a vehicle in the 800 block of 5th Street. A 28-year-old male was arrested shortly after and lodged in cells. He will be released later in the evening on an undertaking with conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
