It was a busy Saturday for the Estevan Police Service as they dealt with a number of calls. 

Police observed a male removing items from a pick-up truck in a parking lot of a restaurant. A 56-year-old Estevan man was arrested for theft after an investigation revealed the vehicle was not his. He was released and will attend Estevan Provincial Court in August.

There was a complaint of a man trespassing. A 56 year old Estevan male was located nearby and arrested. He was also found to have stolen property. He was placed in cells until sober. He will attend Provincial Court in August. 

A 911 hang up sent officers to the south area of Estevan after a woman could be heard in the back ground. A 34 year old man from Estevan was arrested on warrants for failing to appear in court. He will appear in Traffic Court in July.

During the night shift, police investigated a report of an assault that took place in an apartment building. A 36 year-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man received minor injuries. The matter remains under investigation.

And police are investigating a complaint of harassment over social media. That matter is also under investigation.
