The Estevan Bible Camp has been a large part of the community, and they have been running a kids club every Wednesday night at Westview school to keep kids out of the cold for the winter months.

Laden Mackenzie with the Estevan Bible Camp, "Well, we've really been enjoying our kid's club this year, its been going very well. We have between 25 and 30 kids attending, and we have great volunteers that have been coming out between games, crafts, and the stories we do. It's been good, communication has been good so we've been getting a few more kids throughout the year. And we will be going right until April 17th this year."

In regards to camp this year Mackenzie shares, "Our dates are already online on our website, and we are already accepting registrations. Our day camp is for ages 6 to 9, our squirt camp is for ages 7 to 9, our junior camp is for ages 10 to 12, and our teen camp is for 13 to 16-year-olds."

They do a majority of fundraisers throughout the year to offset costs for kids to go camping at a better price, "Our first one is going to be hosted by the Estevan Church of God, its a band featuring Sky Terminal coming in and that will be on May 7th."

The camp also has a climbing wall that you can book out and try, "Absolutely, people can book it for a couple of different events, we already have it set up as well, so we are looking forward to bringing that out and about once the weather gets nice." Mackenzie goes on to share that they also have a day where you can try camp out with your family to get more comfortable, "We could have everyone make note of our Camp Fun day, basically an open house like we did last year down at the camp on July 13th, which is a Saturday. Come on down with your family as its free of charge, come down have lunch try some of the different activities. You can take your family canoeing, archery, or just play around the different games set up around camp. Enjoy our complimentary lunch and check to see what the camp is all about."
