Never one to rest on their laurels, the Estevan Health Care Auxiliary is back at work fundraising for a new project. Just this week, they made their final payment on upgrades to the operating room at the St. Joseph's Hospital, and now they are setting their sights on replacing equipment in the Lab.

The equipment includes:

Incubator for Microbiolgoy:   $15,300
CBC Analyzer:                      $58,000
ECG Machine:                      $11,000
Fridge:                                  $3,530
Total:                                     $87,830 plus taxes

"We're probably going to be be looking at close to $100,000 for the project," shared Darla Wilhelm, treasurer of the Auxiliary.

At Tuesday's Christmas Tea and Bake sale, members were hard at work raising money.

"We made a presentation to refurbish equipment in the lab. We made a presentation of $3,500 to the lab."

The Auxiliary also received the proceeds from this year's Festival of Trees Senior's Tea and Bake Sale.
