A large crowd filled the Beefeater Plaza Monday evening as Estevan Lacrosse held their annual fundraising supper.

"All the tickets were pre-sold with registration. I believe we printed off 450, and they're all sold and spoken for," said Organizer Loni Hollingshead.

She noted that folks have learned to stagger their arrival so as to leave room for others, as people filed in and out throughout the evening.

"We also have the raffle prizes, and those go over so well. The support of the community that comes out to us is amazing."

The proceeds from the event will help pay for floor time, the referees, and any other costs incurred by Estevan Lacrosse operations.

With 450 tickets sold at $25 each, it counts out to around $10,000 raised, not counting the results of the raffles, for the organization.
