Affinity Credit Union Southeast District Council presented the Estevan library with a cheque for fifteen hundred dollars this morning.

"The money is going to be going towards a revitalization of the children's area," shared Branch Manager, Lucas Reid. "We're updating the area in general, adding some new toys, some new technologically related items to move beyond the typical children's area that a lot of libraries have."

They also plan to put up a play fence to better differentiate the children's area from the rest of the library.

"We're also looking into doing a toy library later in the season."

He added that the generosity of the Affinity Credit Union Southeast District Council means that this project can go ahead.

"And that along with some of our own funding is going to be used to revitalize the area."

"We just want to thank Affinity, we really appreciate the donation. We want to thank our patrons as well, we're doing it for them."
