There were some happy faces at the ball diamonds today as Duane Chipley from Affinity Credit Union Southeast District Council was at Lynn Prime Park to hand out a five thousand dollar donation to Estevan Minor Baseball.

"It's very exciting," shared Kent Phillips with Estevan Minor Baseball. "Anytime we can get a donation to our ball facilities because there always seems to be ongoing projects that unfortunately cost money and time so it's a nice feeling to get a donation like this."

He added that the money will go doing paving to repair the walking paths.

Local groups can apply to the Affinity Credit Union Southeast District Council for funding online.
