As the countdown to the 2018 Radiothon for Life continues, the Estevan Police Service is expressing their generosity ahead of the game.

Thursday afternoon they donated the proceeds from their annual Estevan Police Officers Memorial Golf Tournament, amounting to $3000, to the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation.

"It's wonderful. The police have been doing their golf tournament for a number of years, and we're so grateful that they can bring that money towards the Foundation," said Travis Frank, the Interim Executive Director of the organization.

"Obviously it's a great cause that everybody in the community benefits from, so we're really excited to see they decided to support us with that money."

"We're so grateful for the police and everything they do in the community, so for them to hold their own fundraiser and to be able to give back to the Foundation is really exciting," he concluded.
