Estevan and area saw the biggest blanket of snow on Sunday that we've seen all winter. Estevan received approximately 13cm on Sunday and the snow didn't stop there, it continued lightly throughout the week until it stopped on Wednesday afternoon adding an extra 4cm. Although the snow has stopped the temperature will stay cold for the next week.

"In the southern part of the province, the temperatures will not be extreme but will still be below normal," explains Amanda Prysizney with Environment Canada, "quite a bit below normal with overnight lows of minus thirty and daytime highs of around minus twenty or so. These temperatures are expected to somewhat increase by Sunday and into early next week but will still be below normal. We'll be still looking at overnight lows of minus 25 and daytime highs of minus 20."

Although the temperature isn't going to warm up much, we shouldn't see much snow in the next week.
