A woman from Estevan appeared in Provincial Court on Wednesday on charges relating to the possession of meth.

According to Regina police, at around 10:48 AM on Tuesday, officers were called to the 2000 block of Broder Street in the City of Regina. They conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the area and found that the female driver had an outstanding warrant for driving while disqualified, and her driver's license was also found to be suspended.

The suspect was placed under arrest. During the ensuing search that followed, police found a significant quantity of a substance believed to be methamphetamine, and investigation led to charges.

Twenty year old Kaylee Heddie Turnbull of Estevan, Sk, is charged with Breach of Probation, and Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. Turnbull's first court appearance was Wednesday morning.
