A large crowd filled the Wylie Mitchell hall on Saturday night as the Estevan Wildlife Federation held their 34th annual fundraising dinner.

"I'm really happy with the turnout. We were able to fill all of our tables, and everybody was really happy," shared Kendra Lainton, one of the organizers of the event.

Ed Goodwin calls one of the auction items.

It wasn't quite a sell out event, however, it was very close to being so, according to Lainton.

"I think it's gone really well. It's been really smooth, our emcee's been good, our auctioneers have been good, and our volunteers have been letting everything run smoothly."

The evening included silent and live auctions, raffles, and designated drivers for everyone to find a responsible ride home.

Final totals aren't yet ready for release, however, it's safe to say that the large auctions and near sellout crowd will certainly give the EWF a boost.
