Plenty of good food and laughs was had all around on Saturday night at the Estevan Family Resource Center's Comedy Fundraising Dinner.

"We're really happy with the turnout," expressed Brittany Zahn with the Center, "I think the night's gone really well. The supper's gone well, the auction and 50/50's have all gone really well."

"We're always grateful for any support we get from the community. I know there's so much going on in this town, that it's hard to always be positive about ticket sales etc, but we're really happy with everybody that's decided to come here tonight and support us. It just makes it that much easier to keep wanting to fundraise and do these kinds of things for the Family Center. It just gets us going for the golf tournament and the Expo coming up," she added.

Saskatchewan born stand up comedian Jody Peters was the headlining entertainment for the evening.
