The Estevan Family Resource Center was keeping many families warm and busy with their Valentine's Drop-in program. With over 60 parents and toddlers running around, enjoying Valentine card making, along with some snacks it was a huge success.

Colleen McMillan the Executive Director of the Family Resource Center, "Well, today being Valentine's Day we just have an open time in the drop-in and play center. Where people can come and go, bring their kids to make some Valentine cards for their loved ones. The kids can sit here and make 10 cards if they wanted to, they are not limited to just one and move on. And then there are snacks and treats, as its freezing outside so it's a great place to be today to enjoy a warm place and do some crafts. Let the kids play with their friends and have a quiet afternoon."

McMillan on why its important for the kids, "Well, it gives them a place to come when its cold outside, and we've definitely have had a long winter right now. Families start feeling pretty isolated and so do the kids, so getting them out of the house. Having a safe place for them to play and run, a visit is great for them but equally great for their parents that are here as well."
