The 5th Annual Festival of Trees in support of the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation was a smashing success raising $142,000.

“The main purpose of this event is to raise money for equipment and services not otherwise funded at the St. Joseph’s Hospital. This event has a huge impact on healthcare in Southeast Saskatchewan. Without our volunteers and the financial support of our attending guests and sponsors, these events would not be possible.” said Becky Cassidy, the Foundation’s Executive Director.

The money raised will be put towards purchasing equipment and funding services at the hospital.

There were four events held during the three day event which included a Father Daughter Gala, a Senior's Tea, Santa's breakfast with the Bruins and the main fundraising event on Saturday evening, featuring The Titled Kilts bringing in over $80,000 alone.

“Once again, this event was a proven success, and has shown that Estevan truly has an appetite for an annual Christmas Festival”.

The Festival of Trees has raised over $450,000 for the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation over the last five years.
