This last weekend was a busy one for the Estevan Fire Department, as they were called out to a couple of traffic incidents.

The first one involved the collision at the junction of Highways 39 and 18.

"When we arrived on scene we found that there was a trapped occupant, which we assisted in extricating," shared Fire Chief Dale Feser.

"We helped the EMS treat the individuals, and the injured people were transported to hospital via ground ambulance."

Then, they were called out again the next day to another accident.

"It was around 1:30 PM Sunday afternoon. We responded to the report of a motorcycle versus truck motor vehicle collision, out on the Highway 39 bypass at the Kensington Avenue intersection."

He added that EMS transported one motorcycle rider to the hospital.

They were then back in their trucks less than 24 hours later, as they attended a fire in a motor-home, located at the Estevan Exhibition Grounds.
