The magic phrase that Estevan Habitat for Humanity has been striving for for so long has finally come to pass...100 percent complete.

That's the status of their house build project, and Steering Committee Chairman Doug Barnstable is glad it is done.

"It seems like it's been a while since we got started on this from the fundraising side, it's great to reach the conclusion that we were looking for and finish the house on schedule. Hopefully when everyone has a look at it they'll be pleased with the outcome."

He added that the soon-to-be occupants are excited about moving in before too long.

"Stephanie is looking forward, and definitely I think that the rest of her family is feeling the same way as well."

The plan is for her and her child move into the new location around 10 days into December, and the Habitat crew will have a hand in the process right until the very end.

"We still have couple of things that haven't arrived yet, they're just finishing touches. They should be coming in the next couple of weeks, then we'll get those installed and do the final handover," Barnstable said.

The Grand Opening Ceremonies will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday.
