"The King Street closure includes Bannatyne Avenue to Pine Avenue, including both intersections," explains EMO Coordinator Helen Fornwald. "There will be no through traffic between this construction zone."

DETOURS

Eastbound Traffic: Turn north on Dufferin Avenue for two blocks...east on Henry Street to Spruce Drive connecting back to King Street.

Westbound Traffic: Turn north on Spruce Drive to Henry Street...south on Dufferin Avenue connecting back to King Street.

Northbound Traffic: Follow the Henry Street detour route.

Southbound Traffic: Follow the Heritage Drive detour route.

"During this time, local traffic will have access to their property in the 500 and 600 block of Bannatyne Avenue, the 300 block of Pine Avenue, and the 200 block of King Street," adds Fornwald.

No parking will be allowed on King Street between Dufferin Avenue and Petterson Drive during construction.

The city of Estevan requests the public to avoid the construction zone if possible and, if in the area, to obey all traffic signage and keep an eye out for workers.

The detours ensure a wide berth around the construction zone.
