The KinClubs' permanent outdoor rink that was built this summer received some more support recently when McGillicky Oilfield donated $5,000 towards the ongoing project.

"It's really great," shared Preston Majeran, with the Kinsmen, "that a local company in the community that has deep roots in the community is stepping up and helping us complete the rink."

He added that the money will go toward the general fund for building the rink, which includes building a roof over the ice surface as well as a change shack.

"Our number one priority right now is that change shack, we need to get the change shack done. Come spring, we are going to have a big announcement regarding the change shack."

Majeran also emphasized the support that the community has shown the project from the beginning.

"The Estevan Kinsmen and Kinettes would really like to thank all current sponsors and future sponsors for helping us complete this project."
