The pracautionary drinking water advisory for the Town of Lampman has been extended. This is due to allow for more time to complete water treatment maintenance and upgrades.

The Town of Lampman is currently under a boil water advisory effective 8:00 am January 30, 2018 until further notice. The advisory was put in due to high turbidity (high level or haziness or cloudiness in the water).

Residents are being asked to boil all water, used for drinking purposes, for at least one minute at a rolling boil prior to use. Boil all other water for use in:

- brushing teeth or soaking false teeth
- dish-washing, unless sanitized in another fashion
- washing fruits and vegetables
- food or drink which will not be subsequently heated
- ice cubes

Residents are also being asked to refrain from drinking from public water fountains from the public supply. Take care with young children in the bath so they do not swallow any water. Laundry may be washed in tap water either by hand or machine.

Consult your doctor if you have any cuts or rashes that are severe before using the water.
