The search for a 93-year-old Regina man has ended.

Regina Police confirmed in a press release Sunday night that Raul Burchi, the subject of an earlier missing person report, was located deceased in his vehicle northeast of Montmartre late Sunday afternoon.

Police had expanded their search for the Regina senior on Sunday to all of southern Saskatchewan, after Burchi went missing from east Regina on December 9.

A Missing Vulnerable Person Emergency Advisory Alert has been issued to now include all of Southern Saskatchewan.

Ninety Three year old Raul Burchi was last seen on December 9, 2018, at approximately 8:00 p.m. on the 2100 block of Heseltine Road in Regina.

Burchi is described as male, fair complexion, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, thin build, with short grey hair and blue eyes. Burchi was last seen wearing a long navy blue winter jacket, a white collared shirt, light brown or grey pants, black shoes and possibly wearing glasses.

Burchi drives a white 2015 4 door Subaru Impreza with Saskatchewan license plate 160 EWR. This vehicle does not have tinted windows and has silver rims.

There is a possibility that Burchi may have travelled outside of Regina. Police are attempting to locate Burchi to ensure he is safe.
