Emergency services were called out at approximately 2:30 PM on Sunday to attend to a collision.

It took place at the intersection of the Highway 39 bypass and Kensington Avenue. An east bound motorcycle collided with a pickup truck, who had failed to come to a complete stop before turning west onto the bypass and pulled out in front.

The 63-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was treated by EMS and members of the Estevan Fire Department on scene, and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 23-year-old male behind the wheel of the pickup truck was uninjured. He was charged with driving with undue care and attention.

The RCMP reminds motorists that it is important to come to a complete stop at stop signs, and to always check for other vehicles, motorcycles and pedestrians.
