Things are going to be a little slick out there as a new weather system moved in overnight. The melting on Thursday and then new snow overnight has left a thin sheet of ice on many streets. There's also a touch of blowing snow out on the highways due to a gusty north wind.

We'll see things cool off substantially Friday afternoon with a wind chill of -20 at times but the colder weather should be short-lived.

Forecasters say a batch of warm air is still expected to arrive next week.
