In celebration of the winter season, Southeast Newcomer Services along with the Souris Valley Museum hosted the Heritage Winter Carnival Saturday. The crowds filed in out of the cold blustery weather as the museum had a variety of winter activities to keep the public busy.

Hot Chocolate, soup, and buns kept people coming back for more as Carol Daniels a performer out of Regina Beach entertained the community with songs, and stories of her people. She taught those in attendance the different words for many things and shared a bit more about the history behind many drums, instruments, art, sound, and culture in general.
