Sirens could be heard in the city around 9:00 Wednesday morning, as emergency units were seen racing south and out of town.

"Estevan RCMP,  Fire and EMS responded to a two vehicle, motor vehicle collision on Highway 18 southwest of Estevan," shared Sergeant Jeff Clarke with the local RCMP.

"There was no injuries, and the collision appears to have been from the icy road conditions."

At the scene, a car could be seen sitting in the ditch, though it didn't appear to have rolled, or sustained any extremely significant damage.

"We're just reminding the public to slow down, give yourself extra time when winter road conditions are out, and drive according to the road conditions," Clarke said.
