People are reminded to pay attention in the construction zones around Estevan.

"Every time there's a construction zone we have to remember that those people that are out there bettering our roadways, they're someone's loved one such as their mother's, their father's, their daughter's, their son's, their sister's or their brother's. If it was your family out there you would want people to slow down and make sure they're safe. It can be a very dangerous job when you're working on road ways where there's high traffic volumes and things like that," explained Estevan's Police Chief Paul Ladoucer.

"Slow down, pay attention to the signs and treat it as if it were one of your own loved ones."
