The Estevan Police Service had no notable calls Sunday night but stayed hard at work continuing their investigations from Saturday night. As a result of an investigation of an incident that was reported Saturday night, police arrested and charged a 19-year-old Estevan male with being unlawfully in a dwelling and assault with a weapon. He was released on an Officer in Charge Undertaking with conditions of no contact with the victim, the co-accused and to not consume alcohol or other intoxicating substances. A 19-year-old male from Benson was also arrested and is facing a charge of assault, he was released on the same conditions. Both males will appear in Provincial Court in May to answer to the charges.
Upon further investigation into a call on Saturday evening led to charges of obstruction and failure to comply, to a 38-year-old female from Meadow Lake," Stated Sergeant Evan Handley. "A warrant has been sought for her arrest."
