Those driving in the southeastern quadrant of the Energy City on Friday will have to watch out for road crews and detours.

"The City of Estevan will be doing reconstruction of rutted areas on Perkins and 4th Avenue," explained Roads and Drainage Manager Norm Mack.

"Please expect delays and detours. If you can, avoid this particular area and take alternate routes."

He also requested for motorists to slow down to 30 kilometers per hour when in the vicinity of the crews.

"Construction will begin at 8:00 AM and last throughout the day until early evening."

Mack added that their core testing project on King Street is expected to be wrapped up by the end of the work day on Thursday.
