Savour the Southeast is getting a new title sponsor for the annual event.

Event co-chair Brittany Zahn was on hand Tuesday to help with the announcement that Tundra Energy Marketing Limited will be the title sponsor for the 2019 Savour The Southeast.

“I feel like January was finally our opportunity to really get things rolling,” said Zahn. “With T.E.M.L. committing, we’ve had a few other companies commit so we’re just finally getting things going, so it’s exciting.”

T.E.M.L. has been a supporter of the event for several years.

This year's Savour the southeast will be May 4 at Affinity Place, with a cabaret following the event at the Power Dodge Curling Centre.

“We have lots of the same liquor vendors coming back and a couple new ones, which is exciting” she said. “I think that a couple of the previous liquor vendors have such great things to say about the show that it’s been an easy sell for a couple of new people if they can make things work.”

The event is mainly focused on the southeast vendors but there are a lot of vendors from out of town coming as well.

“We have some interest in Kindersley and Saskatoon that want to make the trip down, so that’s super exciting,” she said.

Tickets are available online, and may be at Henders Drugs by the end of the week.
