UPdated: The scene has now been cleared and traffic is free along Kensington Avenue

Emergency crews were on the scene of a collision at the south railway crossing on Kensington Avenue early Wednesday afternoon.

"It appears that we have a motor vehicle accident with a semi striking a train and the load falling on a passenger vehicle that was stopped for the train," stated Sergeant Kevin Reed with the Estevan Police Service, on the scene.

"There's no injuries reported to us, everybody seems to be fine. EMS has checked them out. The roads going to be closed for awhile here."

He advises drivers to avoid the area and head a different direction to their destination.
