The Estevan Family Resource Centre has plenty to smile about as they are the recipients of last week's Smile Cookies proceeds.

"Smile Cookies went great," shared Ryan Irwin, owner of the King Street Tim Hortons location. "Our staff worked extra this year."

The King Street location sold 7084 cookies and combined that with the 4th Street location, a total of $10,964 was raised for the Family Centre.

"We wanted to make a bigger impact on a smaller organization. We've given to the hospital for the last couple of years which was excellent but we wanted to make a bigger impact in the community."

"I'd like to thank all the customers for coming through and purchasing those cookies. And also our staff this year were making just over a thousand cookies every day. Everyone worked extra hard and it was nice to see the community come out and support it."
