Power has been knocked out throughout most of the south side of Estevan after an accident Tuesday afternoon.

A large piece of snow removal equipment slid into a power pole in the back alley beside the 7-11 on 4th street causing the issue.

No injuries or significant damage occurred in the incident.

Power was knocked out immediately between 4th street and King street in Estevan.

Power is reported to be back on in those areas. However, a second outage began at 3:30pm affecting 6th avenue North to 1st Avenue.

SaskPower is working on the issue and anticipates the issue to be completely fixed by 5:30pm.
