After calling out the province for failing to appoint members to an arbitration board for education, the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation is expecting contract talks to resume shortly.

The STF went as far as to say they were going to court over the failure to appoint members to the Educational Relations Board that is in charge of overseeing the implementation of collective bargaining agreements.

The Federation argued that without a sitting board, there’s no way to guarantee fair implementation.

The STF suspended talks with the province over the delays and, hours later, the appointments were released.
