It's full steam ahead for the Boundary Dam Power Station, now that all parts of Unit 3 are back up and running following the damaging storm in June.

"The component parts, including the turbine, had been sent to calibration shops and various and assorted shops across North America, really. There were parts that were sent to Georgia, for example, to get this specialized work done," shared SaskPower's Jordan Jackle.

"Some of these repairs involved very precise work some times, being precise to less than a millimeter. There's very specialized shops that are able to do this sort of work."

The parts are back, Jackle said that everything is reinstalled and running at it's previous capacity. The attached CCS facility stood by while the parts were fixed, and has also been restarted to full capture.
