Three local women charged in relation to Weyburn's first homicide in 23 years have had their cases adjourned. The women, aged 18, 19, and 21 years old, had their first appearances in Weyburn Provincial Court today.

Emily J. Bedore, Rebecca L. Larson, and Chevonne Olson are all charged with obstruction of justice, accessory after the fact, and unauthorized possession of a weapon. They were charged on January 25 as a result of the ongoing investigation into the January 4 homicide that claimed the life of 18-year-old Nathan Hutt. Kegan Muxlow, 24, is facing second-degree murder charges in the case, along with additional charges of attempted murder.

The three women are all being represented by their own lawyers and their cases are all adjourned to next month in Weyburn while awaiting disclosure. Bedore and Olson return to court on March 26, while Larson had her case adjourned to March 12.

Also charged in the January 4th homicide and home invasion are Dominic Hawkes, 23, and William McLeod, 25, both from Weyburn. McLeod was also in court today facing a breach of his release conditions, which were set on January 19 when he was released from custody on charges stemming from the January 4 incident. He was released from custody again today and will be in Weyburn Provincial Court on March 12. Hawkes will have his charges spoken to on March 5 and he will remain in custody until then.

Both men are facing charges of break and enter and committing assault, wearing a disguise during the commission of an offense, possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offense, and possession of a firearm without a valid license. Hawkes is also charged with possession of cocaine.

Muxlow has been remanded into custody until his next court appearance on March 12 in Weyburn Provincial Court unless he is released sooner on bail.
