A free, hot meal for those who may not have time during their busy days working among many other reasons is exactly what people need to warm up in these frigid times we've seen lately. Warm Welcome suppers have been providing just that for well over a year now, and have seen a substantial amount of people continuing to make their way out in the month of February.

"I don't really see too much of a drop in numbers, I still serve between 40 to 60 people every Tuesday and Thursday," says Christa Jorgenson, Kitchen Coordinator for the Warm Welcome Kitchen. "We've had lots of people coming out, calling and volunteering. That's one thing we always struggle with, is volunteering, and lot's of donations have recently come in."

The suppers support people throughout southeast Saskatchewan that can make it to either Trinity Lutheran Church or St. Giles Anglican Church Tuesdays and Thursdays, but the suppers themselves have seen support from the community as well.

"OMG Yoga Studio did a Yoga for a cause on Sunday. One of the teachers in the teachers in the studio donates an hour of her time, an hour of her profession and it's basically a drop in based class for everyone in the community to drop in what they can and come enjoy an hour of yoga and get to support something in the community."

If you yourself would still like to donate towards the project, there's a few different ways you can do so.

"You can always come see me and make cheques out to the Warm Welcome Kitchen, or go see the Salvation Army and donate there and help keep our program as well... I have taken food donations, one lady donated 100 cordon bleu's to us, so that was quite the treat."
