Fog is again playing the antagonist as drivers hit the highways Tuesday morning. Snow and ice could also be factors for early-morning travel.

Environment Canada's alert says dense fog settled across much of the southeastern prairies, though conditions will improve throughout the morning.

"Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations."

The province's Highway Hotline's latest is reporting reduced visibility due to fog in the southeast, along with swirling snow, loose snow, and icy or slippery sections.
