The Estevan Rotary Club is hosting its 45th Annual Auction Thursday night with funds going towards a number of international and community projects.

According to Event Chairperson Dennis Bode, items up for bid this year include gift certificates, food items, clothing, artwork, and even a reconditioned 1984 Lebaron.

He thanks the local business community for its continued support of the Rotary Club, adding that if they can achieve dollar for dollar value of the merchandise, they stand to raise between $15,000 and $20,000.

The event is at the Estevan Shoppers Mall with browsing at 5:00pm and the auction at 6:00pm.

The Estevan Rotary Club supports several local organizations including the Salvation Army, the Violence Intervention Program, Stars for Saskatchewan, Souris Valley Theatre, and the New Civic project.
