Canadian Blood Services is thanking residents for their continued generosity at the recent Blood Donor Clinic with over one-hundred and forty units of blood collected.
Because each whole blood donation can be used in up to three ways, over four-hundred and twenty lives will be saved.
According to Lindy McIntyre, the Regional Communications Manager for the Prairie Region, the summer is a time of particular need for the organization with regular donors on vacation and an increase in accidents.
The next Blood Donor Clinic in Estevan is October 29th.
