A boil water advisory is in effect for the town of Midale.

A water main break that led to the issue. 

Residents are asked to set water to a rolling boil for at least a minute before consumption.

This not only includes drinking the water but also for brushing your teeth, washing food and ice cubes.

The people of Midale are also being asked to avoid washing their dishes in this water as well.

Children and infants should be sponge bathed to avoid any ingestion until the advisory is lifted.

The advisory is expected to stay in effect until provincial lab tests come back clear to give the town the okay.
