The Estevan Bruins made another transaction this week as the team continues to round out its roster for the upcoming SJHL season.

The team announced Wednesday that they've traded 2003-born forward Sam McPeak to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. In return the Bruins get a Player Development Fee (PDF).

In his lone season in Estevan last year McPeak played in 44 games, notching 10 points and putting up 81 penalty minutes. Prior to his time with the Bruins he was a member of the AJHL's Canmore Eagles.

The Edmonton native will be heading into his 20-year-old season this year.

The Bruins will open main training camp on August 28, which is just 18 days away.
