Estevan Fire Chief Rick Davies confirmed that the Estevan Fire Department were called to three separate carbon monoxide alarms at three different residences last week.

The first call came in last Tuesday, when crews were dispatched to a home in the northwest area of the city. Davies said the alarm appeared to have been triggered by a back up generator that was running outside. Crews ventilated the home back to normal CO levels.

On Wednesday, fire crews were called to a home in the northeast part of the city for another CO alarm. The home was ventilated and SaskEnergy was called in to investigate the cause.

And on Saturday, crews were called to another alarm at a home in the northcentral part of the city. The residence was ventilated and SaskEnergy was again called in to investigate.
