One person was injured in a crash between a semi and a truck in the Alameda area last night. According to an RCMP release, the crash happened at about 10:30 PM on Highway 9 just south of the town. 

The Carnduff RCMP detachment was on the scene. The driver of the semi did not sustain any injuries, while the driver of the truck was taken to the hospital in Oxbow. The RCMP did not specify his injuries or have an update on his condition. 

After the crash, police remained at the scene for a time but have since reopened the highway.
