CHRIS LEWGOOD:

The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins can clinch their second straight Viterra Division title this week with two wins over the Weyburn Red Wings!

That's thanks to an impressive 4-3 victory over the Battlefords North Stars at Affinity Place last Saturday, which also helped the man steering the ship hit a milestone.

Chris Lewgood notched his 150th regular season victory as the Bruins' Head Coach and General Manager since joining the franchise on May 27, 2013. The Bruins' record since the start of the 2013/14 season sits at 150-102-8-19 with seven games remaining this season.

Lewgood's teams have never missed the playoffs over the past five seasons, adding another 12 postseason wins to his total. The Bruins' made the SJHL semi-final last season for the first time since 2004/05, with the next step for both the coach and the team to make the Canalta Cup Final and win their first league championship since 1998/99.

However, as Lewgood mentioned during his visit to the CJ1150 morning show on Wednesday, they continue to focus on earning one win at a time. So cheer on the Bruins' in their final four regular season games starting Wednesday night at 7:00pm at Affinity Place against the Weyburn Red Wings.
